Transitions lenses do not get dark in the car because the windshield blocks the UV light which activates the photo chromic response. Polarized sun wear blocks dangerous glare, but does not change in varying light conditions.

Drivewear lenes are capable of sensing and reacting to varying light conditions both outside and behind the windshield of the car. From bright sunlight accompanied by blinding glare, to overcast inclement conditions. This new lens provides the wearer with the visual solution.

Divewear lenes provide glare protection through polarization and enhance and protect vision through photochromics which activate by visble and UV light. Combining the strengths of two of the most important technologies Younger has developed the lens for today’s modern world.

Please be aware that this lens is a speciality lens and should not be worn for night driving.

Drivewear is available in single vision from minus eight to plus six on base curves of 2,4,6 and 8. This lens is also available in the Image progressive (18mm fitting height) from a plus one to three add.
